As many of you know, Andrew and I will have been together nine and a half years this summer. Though, when we actually met is a bit of a point of contention between us. I remember meeting him in 6th grade Band - we both played clarinet- but he thinks he wasn't there long enough to really meet anyone, and we actually met in 8th grade. I'll agree that we became friends in 8th grade, though, because one day when one of my bridesmaids, Marloe, was sick - he asked if he could talk to me instead of her. I said "If you must..." and the rest is history!
I'm glad we grew out of those awkward phases long ago... oh wait, maybe we haven't! But, truthfully, that's one thing I really love about our relationship. He's seen me at all stages of life, and in all situations - I've laughed with him, I've cried with him, I've been strong with him and also very weak. There's nothing I can do that will embarrass him anymore, and nothing he can do that will embarrass me! I love having had the opportunity to grow into the person I am today with Andrew by my side, and I look forward to all the fantastic experiences that we still have waiting for us together!
